​Organizers of the DSF are offering a limited opportunity to attend the Keynote Session (Friday, 7-8 pm). 

Registrations will be accepted on 1st submitted / 1st accepted basis.

    General Waiver
    I acknowledge both personally, and on behalf of or as legal guardian of the Listed of Attendees (participants) on the Registration Form that there are risks inherent in with the events, activities including but not limited to indoor, outdoor, nighttime activities that may be associated with the Dark Sky Festival (DSF) including injuries.  I hereby agree to assume all those risks and responsibilities unconditionally.

    By entering this Presentation, you are entering an area where photography, audio and video recording may occur.

    Your entry and presence on the event premises constitutes your consent to be photographed, filmed, and/or otherwise recorded and to the release and publication.

    By entering the event premises, you waive and release any claims you may have related to the use of recorded media of you at the event, including, without limitation, any right to inspect or approve the photo, video or audio recording of you, any claims for invasion of privacy, violation of the right of publicity, defamation, and copyright infringement or for any fees for use of such record media.

    TAWBAS reserves the right to make changes to, cancel portions of, or cancel in its entirety
    any DSF programs due to health, other emergencies, disasters or dangerous situations.
    Covid-19 Protocols/Restrictions > >
    Currently (12 Aug 2022), there are NO Covid-19 Public Health Orders or restrictions in place in the NWT.
    However, large gatherings where lots of people mingle are a higher risk. The following "Healthy Habits" are things
    you can do every day and may be especially important to implement in high risk settings.
    • Wearing a good, well-fitted mask reduces respiratory droplets from spreading.
    • Keeping a distance between yourself and others will also help.
    • Washing your hands, use soap to wash and vigorously scrub.
    • Stay home when sick until you feel better.
    • Monitor for symptoms
